About me
Dina Palin grew up in Great Neck and developed an early passion for the decorative arts and architecture by way of her mother, an art teacher and interior designer. They lived in an iconic 1910 Spanish Colonial Revival home filled with Nakashima furniture and Louise Nevelson sculpture.
Her artistic evolution continued when the family moved to the Upper East Side and Dina was introduced to the joys of New York Museum life.
An expert in historical lighting and design as well as antique furniture, for nearly twenty years Dina co – founded and ran Historical Materialism with locations in SoHo and Hudson, NY. Along-side her Hudson Valley brokerage business, Dina works selectively with top clients on custom and antique lighting choices for their homes.

She began her real estate career with a leading boutique agency in Columbia County, and quickly leveraged her extensive contacts into a number of successful listing, sales, and rental transactions.
Dina was recently began a staging business, to further monetize the important Columbia County market where she resides. She also covers Dutchess, Ulster and Greene Counties where many of her friends reside.
Dina graduated from the New York School of Real Estate in 2014 with a certificate in commercial real estate. She is a certified negotiation expert as well as a certified Stager.

Community Involvement
Dina currently volunteers for the Board of Historic Hudson which nourishes her love for Historical Architecture preservation in the small city of Hudson in which she resides.
Personal Interests
When Dina is not scouring the City and Country for Homes she can be found photographing and hiking in nature. In the summer she will be swimming in lakes and streams.

Single Family home in Hudson, NY 2020
I was referred to Dina by a close friend whom she had helped purchase a property in town. We met the day after the referral and started seeing properties immediately. We continued to view local properties for about a month before finding the right home, at the right price and with an ideal location. Dina made the process easy and helped with finding an attorney who helped me close on the property in record time. Furthermore, after closing, Dina came by to help me move furniture and art in my home. Dina was great. I now consider her a friend. She really has unique expertise in finding properties in Hudson.

Sold Multi Family home in Hudson, NY 2019
Dina sold a mixed use building in Hudson NY for me. Her local expertise allowed her to recognize potential local buyers, and helped a lot with out of town interest. She was able to speak to the culture and community of Hudson, and ultimately this is what got the deal done. I would recommend her for the Hudson market without reservation.
